Black Chipboard

Black chipboard is a rigid, 100% recycled fiberboard dyed through the core, so both surfaces and cut edges stay solid black. Lamitech stocks black chipboard sheets from 30 pt to 60 pt (.030"–.060") in sizes up to 39" x 52", plus rolls, with custom cutting available. FSC® certified with a minimum 35% post-consumer content, it's used for rigid boxes, book and journal covers, picture frame backs, and retail displays.

Solid Black Chipboard is a recycled fiberboard dyed throughout for consistent black color on the surface and edges. These black chipboard sheets are commonly used for packaging, furniture components, easels, boxes, picture frame backs, and journal or book covers. Manufactured from 100% recycled fibers with a minimum of 35% post-consumer waste (PCW), the board is compostable, biodegradable, and recyclable. Due to natural pigment variations, color shades may vary slightly from lot to lot.
