Solid Bleached Sulphate (SBS)
Solid Bleached Sulphate (SBS) is a medium-density paperboard with a solid white core and a clay-coated top surface, made entirely from virgin bleached wood pulp. The clay coating gives it excellent print quality, and the board cuts, creases, hot-foil stamps, and embosses cleanly — built for high-end packaging and graphic applications.
SBS is specified for folding-carton packaging, retail and consumer goods, signage, and greeting cards, where rigidity, a clean finish, and consistent print results matter.
Specs: C1S or C2S, 12pt–24pt caliper, 88 brightness. Fully recyclable, food-contact approved, and cost-effective relative to comparable premium boards.
